Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey when you affirm the faith into which you were baptised.

Everyone is welcome to have their baby or child baptised at a Christening in their parish church.

Weddings.

Today more than a quarter of all marriages in England take place before God in the traditional setting of a Parish Church.

You’re welcome to marry in church whatever your beliefs, whether or not you are baptised and whether or not you go to church

Anniversaries & Special Occasions

Make the church part of celebrating a special birthday or anniversary

Funerals & Memorial Services

A funeral is used to mark the end of a person’s life here on earth. Family and friends come together to express grief, give thanks for the life lived and commend the person into God’s keeping. 

Everyone is entitled to either a funeral service or a memorial service in their local parish by their local parish priest regardless of whether they attended church or not.
